Emma joined us at the end of June and is a fantastic addition to our resourcing team, covering central support and head office functions. Emma will be working with various departments within Crick to support their teams in recruiting new roles and replacements. Emma has a background in 360 recruitment roles covering a wide range of industries in agency recruitment, ranging from construction recruitment supporting site-based project workers, senior quantity surveyors, contracts managers, and site managers, before moving into business support recruitment covering HR and office-based staff and more recently recruiting senior executive positions. We're delighted she's now moved internally to City Plumbing!
I am thrilled to have joined City Plumbing as part of the internal recruitment team supporting the head office functions. I am looking forward to showcasing my headhunting and stakeholder management experience internally, helping build thriving teams, and working towards the company's goals and objectives. I am enjoying covering a range of departments, with no two roles being the same, making my days very interesting and varied.
I am an exercise enthusiast! I am currently training for both a HYROX and a half marathon. I am a 5 am riser, making it to the gym most days before work, and running during my lunch breaks or evenings. On top of my training, I am currently planning my wedding; the countdown is well and truly ticking away! I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel as much as I can; I love exploring different countries and their cultures and, most importantly, trying all the food! I also love to host dinner parties. With my nan formerly being a chef, I get most of my kitchen tricks from her and love to wine and dine my family and friends with some good food, and to wash it down with a bottle of nicely paired wine!
Tracey also joined us at the end of June, bringing a wealth of experience (over 15 years!). Tracey is a seasoned recruiter with a background in the health, social care, and justice sectors, recruiting everything from a care assistant to a prison custody officer. Throughout her career, she has worked in all areas, including resourcing, compliance, booking, managing branches, business development, and regional management, building teams and retaining strong client relationships. Tracey will be focusing on our 'The Bathroom Showrooms' sector.
I'm very excited to bring all my knowledge and experience into City Plumbing to help secure the very best candidates for their roles and to see the company flourish. I'm currently working on helping to recruit for our 'The Bathroom Showrooms' sector, recruiting Showroom Sales Assistants to help with their expansion following their successes. I've been lucky enough to go and visit some of our branches to meet our teams and get a good understanding of our products and brand. At the moment, I'm recruiting for a wide area, including the North West, Isle Of Man, London, Scotland, the South of England, and Northamptonshire.
I have a large grown family which keeps me busy, and I'm a new, proud first-time Nanny. And! When I get spare time, I like to travel, somewhere with some warmth, scenery. Greek Islands are a favourite, but mostly up to the Lake District where my eldest daughter lives. I love the mountains and the rugged coast up there and all the charming villages on the West Coast of Cumbria. I also like cooking lovely meals, a bit of crafting & socialising with the family, which may include a nice glass of the Red or two!
