Here at City Plumbing we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate self starter to join the Margin Support team as a Finance Assistant based in Crick. Not only will you play a key role in supporting and maintaining the company’s existing contracts administration processes, you will support the simplification and automation initiatives within this area.
What you’ll do:
Understand and document the current contracts administration processes across this team and areas of overlap with other teams
Identify areas for automation and simplification in order to drive operational efficiency
Work with an offshore development team to help analyse and come up with solutions
Support the implementation of any changes and assist in the training of users
Communicate progress against defined deliverables to senior management
Assist in day-to-day activities within the wider Margin Support team
Ideally you’ll have
Experience of identifying and delivering process improvements
A focus on results, with excellent interpersonal skills to keep people energised, positive and focussed on delivering change
Analytical skills in order to investigate, understand and provide solutions to issues
Experience of working with a range of finance systems
Lean belt/six sigma training would be useful but not essential

An understanding of administrative processes within a transactional team
Methodical, with good attention to detail.
Well organised with the ability to plan workload to achieve deadlines.
Numerate and conversant in Word and Excel
A team player with good interpersonal skills that is able to communicate with a broad range of individuals
An open minded individual who is able to explore a range of solutions to a problem
