We are currently recruiting for an experienced, forward thinking E-comm Operations Manager to help with the setup,  implementation and continued development of the CPS online fulfilment service proposition.  This is an opportunity to come and join the team and make a real impact from day one, with strong ideas and experience in e-fulfillment you will have full accountability for your business area and the opportunity to help really shape the team, the ways of working and the performance metrics.

As a City Plumbing Supplies Omega Operations Manager you will be part of the onsite senior leadership team, supporting the successful day to day activities on site. With working patterns that mean you have plenty of time to make your own and we currently don’t work bank holidays as the norm either.  Playing a pivotal role in the ongoing ‘one team’ ethos where the colleagues are central to our success.

Duties will include:

  • Assuming full responsibility and accountability for the successful delivery of the Omega ecomm operation. 

  • Working to clearly defined and set time critical SLA’s

  • Utilising previous knowledge and experience to optimise the product flow and throughput via continuous review of the product layout. 

  • Working in collaboration with the Supply Chain MIS and Product Supply teams to manage resource provisions in line with forecasted volume demands.

  • Being the point of contact and responsible for maintaining relationships with appointed multi carrier and carrier management companies to ensure the smooth delivery of product from site to delivery 

  • Work with the onsite management team to provide guidance and support on the initial setup of the department - structure, KPI’s and productivity measures.

  • Be responsible for the end to end people management processes, focusing on developing a high performing team, with employee Wellbeing at the forefront of your decision making.

  • Continually develop the department to enhance the service, productivity and growth of the ecomm offering. 

  • Working with the multichannel team to ensure awareness of online marketing campaigns, sales and Black Friday.
